But why?

It started the way most great ideas do: over drinks with friends.

I’m a founder, former CMO, current retail corporate guru, and full-time social media junkie (I run several food accounts, so yes — I’m always thinking about food). I’ve built businesses, consulted with food brands, and I’ve also been an entrepreneur, a writer, and the friend everyone sends screenshots to.

Because here’s the thing: unsolicited dick pics are weirdly common.

Studies show that about 80% of men and nearly 50% of women have received one — and most of the time, nobody asked for it. When it happens, reactions range from shock to laughter to hey-that’s-kind-of-hot to full-on group chat entertainment.

I’ve only received one myself. It took me from outrage… to curiosity… to sharing it with friends for shock value (I asked permission first!).

Then my cousin said, “I get so many of those, I should make a coffee table book.” Something clicked.

Instead of letting awkward photos live forever in camera rolls and texts, what if we turned the whole thing into something funny. Something useful. Something delicious. Something slightly pervy. Altogether mercilessly outrageous.

Recipenis is part cookbook, part cultural commentary, and part excuse to peep peen porn. It’s about taking something cringe and flipping it into connection, creativity, and really good food.
